Our trip to see Santa!

Preparing for the Holidays

Preparing for the Holidays
The beginning of December we got to take a trip to Uncle Dan's & Aunt
Terri's to see Grandmom for her birthday we also got to visit
with Chrissy, Mike and the kids, and Aunt Donna & Uncle Buddy to.
We were happy to visit with everyone and catch up a little bit. Well
preparing for the holidays was simple at the end of November, and
for once I thought I'd actually be finished shopping way before now but
it appears that it's not so. All 3 boys have come down with the seasonal
cold and Paulie is at the beginning of getting over the RSV virus that most
babies do get during winter but it also means being careful about
going out in crowds & making sure when doing a group party that nobody
else has a cold that could be passed on because, RSV could
become dangerous if not treated properly. Paulie has been
coughing with a fever and he's also not his normal happy self.
We're hoping that changes very soon
especially with Christmas coming next week. Well the
boys have been very excited for Santa to come and using the
saying Santa's watching!
does help as far as disciplining so I don't know what Im
going to use when Christmas is over. But, Sean has celebrated with
a pinata at school, Rich dressing up as Santa and his class did a
christmas caroling show the last day of school before break which
was last week. Rich enjoyed
playing Santa, he thought Sean had no idea that it was him. But
when we brought Sean home that day he said Mommy, Santa's
voice sounded just like Richie's and he also wears the same shoes
Rich does when he goes to work on Dan's house, lol. Of course I had
to turn my back and laugh he doesn't miss a thing! We explained that
it was just a coincidince but we were thinking it was his way of telling us
he knew that Rich played Santa that day. Although we did take the
boys to Feeney's Nursery tonight
to see Santa there to. It's this cute little store and
plant nursery that has Santa come and you bring your own
camera and take pictures. Which I
like better anyway. First we sat Paulie down but he didnt
realize who's lap he was on then Sean stepped in next to him
and Colin just screamed
when we got up close. Once Paulie saw me taking the
pictures and Colin on Rich's lap he turned his head to see
who's lap he was on and that's when
he lost it! lol Santa pictures always have one crying until they're a
little older but we enjoyed taking funny pictures and walking
around the store to see all
the nice Christmas trees they have decorated and all the
nice ornaments
they sell there. We did have a nice night together! As far as finishing
shopping I got to go out Tuesday night and get a little more done.
I'm almost completely finished just a few more things to do which
Im hoping will be done over the weekend. Year after Year I find it to
be a struggle of coming up with new ideas of getting what for
which person. Sometimes I find
myself buying just to buy because Im running out of ideas. Christmas has
become the time of year when the store owners get filthy rich really quick
by buying things that the receiver doesn't really need or want. haha and I
didnt even really think of it until today when talking to Chrissy.
It is bizarre if you think about it. But i'm still excited about being with
family and watching everyone open gifts. This holiday Sean & Colin are a
little older
where they will know what they're opening and I think they're going to be
super excited about getting some presents on their list. They started
getting into the holiday spirit by making christmas cookies with both
MomMom's. I also love Christmas movies so they've been into
watching some of those to. We decorated our tree the week after
Thanksgiving and that was also a fun family activity. As it is getting
closer to Christmas Im excited to
keep up with our traditional plans for the holidays and I always
do miss seeing the decorations and the lights when its all over. But
at least the craziness of shopping and spending will be over with. I
hope you all have a
beautiful christmas and a blessed new years! Best wishes of
Happiness & Healthiness to all!

Thanksgiving 07

Our Thanksgiving was great. We started off our day going to Mom & Dad Fell's house. We had appetizers first; cheese bread, fruit with banana cream dip, veggies, and (my favorite) celery with peanut butter in the middle! In the mean time Pop Fell took Colin to the creek and had him playing outside. Paulie was inside with us playing on the floor, making some funny faces and dancing when a commercial with music came on. When dinner was ready Mom Fell must have gotten Colin 5 drinks before we started our dinner he wanted soda, juice, milk then chocolate milk he kept getting mad every time she brought something different. Once we got him settled we all dug in and everything was delicious. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and sucatash. I enjoy having the immediate family at Mom & Dad Fell's our Thanksgiving was really nice and intimate. After being completely stuffed Mom & I cleaned up the kitchen while the guys watched a little football. You'll see a picture of Kevin on my slideshow sleeping when Richie noticed he was dead asleep he said "Oh wow I didn't know Uncle Buddy came to dinner this year" so Rich wanted me put the caption "Uncle Buddy Jr" under Kev's picture he thought it'd be funny but, the new slideshow website Im using doesn't have the caption option. I told Rich if Aunt Donna gets upset she's coming after you!! haha

After we relaxed and watched some football we headed out to my Aunt Sue's for dessert and also to sing Happy Birthday to my Mom-mom. (Hope you had a great birthday Mommom!) I was really happy to see my Uncle Rich, he was in the hospital this week but we were all glad that he was healthy enough to come home and enjoy the holiday with us. We had dream cake which is a vanilla cake made from scratch, it's my great grandmother's recipe and has been in the family for years. We also enjoyed some strawberry shortcake, and pumpkin pie. We then showed everybody the e-mail with the kids' faces on the elves bodies. It's so funny to see. I'm pretty sure I sent it out to everyone if you didn't get it, it said Sean,Col&Paul xmas picture on the subject line I can resend it to anyone that hasn't seen it. Rich's cousin Jen sent it to me with her family's faces on the elves it was a great idea Jen, thanks for sending it!

We are looking forward to visiting Grandmom Pagnotta this Saturday (12/1) to celebrate her belated birthday. We haven't been to Uncle Danny's in a while so we're excited to go and spend the day there, hopefully we'll get to see Uncle Dan & Aunt Terri to. We all had a wonderful holiday, I hope you all did to. Now it is officially time to start shopping! Im actually half way done and it's not even December yet this is definitely a first for me but, I really want to be able to relax and enjoy the holiday season this year besides it's not easy shopping with 3 kids. I'm hoping that we get the chance to spend time with all of you during the holidays!

November

So we started off November with Sean's last soccer game of the fall season. I actually got the game on video for anyone who wants to see it. He scored his usual 3 goals. This time after scoring the 3rd goal he got pushed to the ground by one of the kids on the other team. He came off the field and I asked Sean why he didn't push him back! I was so mad. haha Well kids will be kids. At the end of the game they got snack and trophies. I was sad that soccer was over but Sean will be playing Indoor Soccer in January/February.
He's doing fine with preschool. He has gotten a lot better with writing his name. He was writing his name all in caps and his teacher wanted him to write the e, a, n in lower case. It took some practice but now he's doing much better. He still puts up a fight about going to school sometimes. Last week he faked a stomach ache so he could stay home an hour after I told him he didn't have to go to school he was up running around with Colin. So needless to say he got one over on me but I'll look out for it next time! lol He will be singing Christmas carols at school before he breaks for Christmas and Rich will be playing the school Santa this year! Hopefully Sean won't realize it's him I am a little worried that he'll notice Sean doesn't miss a thing. Unfortunately at school they will only have Santa and a photographer so I won't get to see Rich's Santa performance. I laugh every time I think of it! But I figured it will be one of the many good memories for Rich to have of the boys' childhood.

Colin & Paulie are doing pretty good to. Colin just keeps growing & growing. He isn't to happy that he can't be outside as much but I understand it's not fun having to be inside all the time now. He is going on the potty once a day now which is great. Im not forcing him into it because I tried that last time and it got me no where. I just let them go at their own pace and when he's completely ready he'll cooperate better anyway. We make a fuss over him when he's on the potty to try and make him want to use the bathroom more instead of needing a diaper change. He is talking so much now! He says some things in sentences and the words that he's just learning he doesn't use in sentences as much but he's getting better and better. We are trying to minimize some of the bad words he says as all kids say a curse word or two at some point. What's bad is we laugh at him sometimes which I know is the worst thing a parent could do and we really have gotten it under control. But its not only curse words him & Sean's new favorite is fatty, I asked Colin for a bite of his donut a few weeks ago and he responded with "no fatty". Im not sure where he even picked that up but I know it's just a phase. Anyways, Colin will also be playing Indoor Soccer this year with Sean Im not sure that they'll be on the same team because Sean already played in the fall. Im thrilled that the boys are going to be involved in sports again I love watching them play. Besides the fact it gets them out of the house twice a week!

Paulie is such a great baby. He is teething right now so he's been a little more cranky then usual. But he is getting so big and his personality is really starting to come out a lot now. He sits up and plays with toys and recognizes which ones he likes. If one of the boys take a toy off him he bursts into tears. This morning after Sean got home from school. Him and Colin had their plastic guns out shooting at each other and I hear Seany screaming AHHH at Colin and shortly after I hear Paulie screaming I look over to see what the noise is about and Paulie is half hanging off the couch clenched onto Sean's arm screaming just like Sean is and laughing in between I just started cracking up and thought to myself Paulie is so young to be catching on to what his brothers are doing and repeating it. It was kind of cute that they were all playing together like that. Usually its just Sean and Colin doing things together and I sit with Paulie and put his toys around him. As hard as it is to have them so close together in age it is neat to see them all having the same interest and wanting to play the same things together. Although Seany & Colin are at the age that they fight a lot about everything who sits where, who has which sippy cup, and who gets to do what first. I do spend a lot of time playing referee but when they do play nice its great.

This past weekend we celebrated Giovanna's 2nd birthday (my best friend Linda's daughter) we had a good time and Linda was a great hostess as usual. I can't believe how much time has passed I remember going to see her for the first time when she was just born. Gi was sitting so cute with her cake at the table sticking her fingers in her cake and as soon as we all started singing Happy Birthday she bursted into tears and wanted to leave her cake table! The kids had a good time and it was nice to be with the girls and spend Giovanna's birthday with her. Earlier in the month we celebrated Mom Fell's birthday we had dinner & cake and had a quiet & relaxing night. I hope Mom Fell & Giovanna had good birthdays!

Well the holidays are approaching quickly I can't believe Thanksgiving is this week, it's crazy! We will be keeping our holiday tradition the same we will be going to Mom & Dad Fell's for dinner and this year we will head to my Aunt Sue's for dessert to sing Happy Birthday to my Mom-Mom. I am looking forward to being with our families it is so nice to see everyone. I actually started my Santa shopping Sunday night my girlfriend Christina's husband works for Pepsi so they opened Toys R Us at 7pm for the Pepsi employees and their guests. Every shelf was fully stocked and they raffled off different toys and they did free assemblies if you wanted a toy put together they did all that and they gave us food & drinks. It was really nice and we got a lot of the boys' shopping done which made me feel so much better. Im not a huge fan of Holiday shopping I hate the huge crowds and long lines. But I love giving gifts. I think this year will be a little harder to shop with the baby but the earlier its done the less stressed out over i'll be. Im looking forward to the holidays the boys are older now which will make it fun to see their faces when they open gifts.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! Remember to count your blessings!

P.S. Christine, Im so glad to hear that Kamryn's surgery turned out so great! We are thinking of her!

Halloween 07

Paul's Christening Day

Paul's Christening/Halloween

Paul's christening went really well. We had the baptismal ceremony on October 28th at Our Lady of Calvary church by Rev John Paul. Aunt Jaime and Uncle Kevin are Paulie's godparents. The mass was really nice and Rev John Paul had such a great personality, he was so nice and cracked a few jokes during Mass which made it pleasant. Sean and Colin got to stay seated with us which was different. The boys liked sitting with us and they got to interact with the baptism. They got to stand around us for the actual baptism and they also got to come up on the altar for the blessing. After the ceremony was over we headed to our house for some dinner and drinks. The food was great and everyone seemed to have a good time. It was much easier doing a smaller party this time. We really did miss having our Aunts, Uncles & Cousins with us but, having a smaller party was more personal and a little easier for me to prepare. I want to Thank our families for helping us out and making Paul's Christening such a special day.

Moving onto Halloween. The boys LOVE halloween! Sean could not wait to get dressed in his costume. We started the day off by going to Sean's school and watching his class parade around in their costumes. We came home and got our things together then headed off to Mom & Dad Fell's. We had dinner, Mommom gave the boys their treats and then we got everybody ready to trick or treat. We got Sean Patrick dressed as a Police Officer, Colin was Dennis the Menace, and Paulie was a scarecrow. They all looked so cute and Sean & Colin liked being dressed up. After we got situated we then headed to my Mom & Dad's to trick or treat. The boys got a ton of candy, after we did most of the neighborhood we headed back to the house and I had some of my grandmother's beef stew, it's everybody's favorite winter dinner! I was glad the boys enjoyed Halloween but I was sad it was over because now comes the craziness of Christmas! It'll be here before we know it!

P.S. We just heard the exciting news that we're going to have a new cuddy!! :)

Fall Days

Well..now that Fall is here the kids & I have been doing some festive activities to prepare for Halloween. We closed September by celebrating my Mom's birthday on the 30th. Hope you had a great birthday, Mom! We celebrated with a small family get together and some delicious ice cream cake! We also celebrated my Uncle Jerry's hall of fame induction into DeSales University where he attended which was Allentown College at the time. He got inducted for his Basketball records and achievements. We enjoyed getting together and having a nice dinner. Uncle Jerry gave a great speech when they announced his induction. It was really heart warming for us all to hear how much he appreciated the honor and how he appreciated all of us. He mentioned how I used to attend his games and cheer on the sideline. When I was 2 years old, I was put in his yearbook doing a split with a coke can in my hand! lol It made us laugh when he said my Aunt Sue came to his games so she could join the post game festivities! We really all had a good time and lots of laughs.

As for approaching October, it has been fun but very busy. Friday we went to Styer Orchards in Langhorne with my girlfriend Christina and her 2 kids to pick pumpkins. Sean got 1, Colin picked out a white one, which is really cool and different...i've never seen a white pumpkin before. We also got a few little ones..Sean picked those out for Paulie. Our weekend was filled with a lot of birthday parties. Saturday afternoon we celebrated Gabby's birthday at Windsor Farms. I was really glad that Mom Fell & I didn't get lost going somewhere for once! haha... My brother Kevin came with us so Sean was really excited..they all dressed up as Football players. We went on a Hayride, picked pumpkins then painted them, and the boys fed the goats. The following day we had Kleio's birthday at the same place. They really did enjoy both parties. It was a really cute idea for the kids. I always like doing different things with them. We ended the weekend with my cousin Connor & Nicole's birthday Sunday night. We celebrated at my Mom-mom's the kids played ball out front and we had some good desserts.

Sean's still doing well at soccer. He has been practicing at home, and when Wednesdays come around he's always excited to go to practice and he is thrilled to play in his games on Saturdays. I am hoping this is something that he will stick with. If not then Im sure he'll find another activity he really likes. As long as they are all apart of an after school activity that involves physical work I'm happy. I figure the busier I keep them the less time they have to get in trouble.

Colin is doing so much better at talking now to. He is saying everything, right now he's parroting us a lot but, that's okay he's starting to form sentences a little bit now to. I feel relieved that he has expanded the words he's using. He hasn't been feeling to good this week he had a fever Monday and has been really cranky this week. I'm hoping he'll start feeling better over the weekend.

Paulie is growing and growing. He is so big, and he's definitely outgrown the new baby stages. He is 6 months now which happens to be my favorite age! He shows his personality in different ways. I think this age is great he's starting to do things on his own like holding his bottle, grabbing at toys, and sleeping through the night. I look back and think how did I ever function sleeping 2 hours a night! I'm so glad all of that is over with. I am enjoying him so much more now! He loves to try and talk to us...the other day he said Da-Da and Ba-Ba. He loves the jumperoo, it is a stationery seat with springs in the sides so when he pushes off the bottom of his feet it makes him bounce. It is his favorite thing right now! (Thanks Linda!) I can put him in that thing and he'll be happy in it for at least 20 mins. He also likes his walker to we put him in that and he is into honking the horn. Colin came up to the walker and pushed on the horn and ever since he's been doing that. Paul is such a good baby I am really lucky. Tomorrow I take him and Colin to the doctors for wellness check ups. Paulie was running a fever of 101.5 tonight so I'm hoping him & Colin start feeling better soon! I'll keep everybody updated! Thanks for taking time to read my blog posts.

Happy Birthday this month to; Aunt Sue, Nicole, Connor, Erica, Coley, Baby Kamryn, Gabby and Kleio! Hope you all enjoy your birthdays!!

Sean's 1st soccer game

Super Star Sean

So soccer has started! We started September 8th, which was also my Dad's birthday! Happy Birthday again Dad!! September 8th was skills day. There were about 130 kids out on the field they put the kids in groups of 8 and had them doing different drills to see where to place each kid and on which team. Skills day went well. Colin seemed to enjoy it also he can actually dribble the soccer ball pretty well. I tried getting him on the team because I noticed some other 2 year olds on the team had I known I would've signed him up. But, it was to late when I called to put Colin on with Sean. Anyways, we showed up for the first practice on Wednesday night and Sean was put on the 2,3,4 year olds gold team. Sean had his very first soccer game this morning. Well the game started off a little slow in the very beginning he was playing with the string on his shorts and his attention just wasn't on the game. He came off the field to get a sip of water and I said to him, Sean you have to go after the ball, ya know gave him a little pep talk! He got back out there and me being that crazy, obnoxious Mom on the sideline, I was screaming to him and cheering him on. He got back out there on offense and ended up scoring 2 goals before the 2nd half! I was very impressed to say the least and so excited! The 2nd half just had started and Sean scored his 3rd goal. Immediately after Sean's coach grabbed him and us and said we're going to put Sean with the 5 year olds for the 2nd half. We're glad he's doing so well but the other kids don't stand a chance with Sean on the field. So we happily gathered our stuff and moved to the 5 year olds field. Sean got right back in the game to score his 4th and final goal! I was thrilled with his performance and it was one of those sentimental days for me where I thought to myself wow he's really not a baby at all anymore he looked like such a big kid on that field today. Even though he is only 4 years old I thought to myself it feels like yesterday he was just Paulie's age and those 4 years went by to fast. It was almost a sigh of relief for me to think wow he's going to be such a great little boy and he's going to be great at anything he does. It was the best feeling in the world to watch him excel out there today. He was having so much fun and I could tell how happy he was with himself. At that point I felt so lucky and proud to have such great and talented little boys. As much as I complain about not having a daughter I must say I am really, really enjoying my boys right now. Today I felt like Im not missing out on anything by not having a daughter. I'm super excited and really looking forward to watching them with their sports and seeing them grow into young men. Lately I've been hearing more and more horror stories about different things that happen to people that seem to have the perfect lives and i've slowly been learning not to complain about what I don't have but appreciate what I do have, which is 3 beautiful little boys.

Birthday Party & Labor Day

Birthday Party & Labor Day

Well it's safe to say we're finished celebrating Colin's 2nd birthday. He had 3 celebrations this year, what a lucky kid! The first one Richie, Sean & I had a baseball carvel icecream cake at home for Colin on his real birthday. The weekend after Mom & Dad Fell threw a party at their house with both sides of their families. We enjoyed a nice bbq the kids played in the yard, Dad F took Maddy & Colin to the creek and Colin received some cool gifts he got a basketball net, a Little People's car carage, a fire truck, etc. Lastly but certainly not least we celebrated his birthday at my Mom & Dad's. We bbq'd, played volleyball, the kids got to run around in the yard, jumped on the trampoline, got pushed on the swings and had water gun fights. When the sun went down my Dad & Rich set off fireworks which was pretty neat. Colin got some presents that he enjoyed he got a Spiderman couch of his own, a cordless toddler phone, a spiderman tricycle, and more. We also sang but not only to Colin we also celebrated Paula, Mark, Kevin & Cousin Ryan's birthdays. Labor Day weekend was a good weekend for us. We enjoyed it, we went to pre-jordan class before the birthday party. It started out a little rough because we got thrown out initially for being late but the priest found us in the parking lot and let us come take class anyway! haha only us! We made arrangements for October 28th we will have the ceremony and a very small reception at our house with our immediate families and great grandparents. We decided we'll give Paulie a big 1st birthday party instead. I didn't realize this when I wrote my other blog but I noticed it was Cousin Kelly's birthday on the 31st I hope she had a great birthday! Hope you all enjoyed your labor day weekend! I'll be posting more to update you all on Sean's school and soccer starts. Talk to you soon!

Summer Vacation

Start of September

Start of September

Unfortunately the warm weather is coming to an end, but we had a pretty good summer. The boys have been outside all day every day and as much as I hate the cold I'm looking forward to not having to sit out in 90 degree weather all the time. Soccer starts September 8th which will be skills day. I shouldn't have told Sean because he asks me everyday "do I have to go to soccer today?" He & Colin have been walking around the house in spikes for the last 2 weeks. He doesn't seem as thrilled to start school but I think this year will be easier for him to get back in the swing of it. He & I made some nice friends there last year who we've kept in touch with over summer and had a few play dates and I'm thinking it won't be as strange to him this year. Sean & Colin are starting to play a little nicer together they still have their fights every day, but I've noticed when the neighbor hits Sean, Colin is ready to physically defend his brother and vice versa. Sean actually told him, hey only I'm allowed to hit Colin! lol Anyways, Colin is doing better and better with talking right now his favorite word is "mine". The start of terrible 2's has begun and has been rough for me to say the least. He throws temper tantrums over anything that doesn't go his way. Sean has been getting a little fed up also. Colin got mad and threw his truck down the steps, so he wanted me to go down and get it, naturally I refused so Sean yelled "fine, i'll go get your truck as long as you shut the hell up"! Well I couldn't blame him, it makes our days seem longer. However, when we were with my grandmother he apologizes to her when he does something wrong and tries to soften her up, shows his sweet side. Probably because she doesn't put up with his temper! hah! I've never seen him do that before.. I know I make him out to sound like a little monster but he definitely does have a sweet side. Paulie is doing well he just hit 5 months on the 30th. I have him a little more situated on a schedule. He sleeps about 6-7 hours a night and takes a 2 hour nap after he eats lunch. I've been feeding him rice cereal mixed with fruit, which took a little getting used to but I feel that he has a full belly which allows him to sleep a little more. He is now skooching his way out of the bouncy seat, car seat and throws his body back in the bumbo chair when he wants to get out of it. He is doing that screamy noise right now. He still loves to play with his feet and he's amazed by his hands.

Well my sister Jaime and I took one last trip down to the shore Monday with the boys to visit Mommom & Pop Mayza. The boys had such a great time we went to the beach where the boys played in the sand, collected jellyfish, and played football. Paul was excellent on the beach he napped, ate and when he wasn't doing that he was pretty pleasant. The weather was perfect and it wasn't as crowded. At night we took them on the boardwalk they went on the rides, got ice cream and afterwards we'd go visit Mommom while she was playing fascination. They had a game in there called Deal or No Deal. It allowed you to win up to 1,000 tickets if you won. I got a little obsessive with it. There were a few times where I picked Deal and I had picked the personal case with 1,000 tickets in it. I wanted to win they had different things in there. Even though I didn't win, The boys got to get nice things anyway. Cousin Nicole cashed her tickets in and got each of the boys a Superman action figure that talked, and lit up. This past time we were just there Mommom cashed hers in to get Sean a mini skateboard ramp & Colin a fire Engine set. They were real happy when Mommom took them on a tram car ride, Sean and Colin really enjoyed that. The trip was really great, and I was glad to spend that extra time with my grandparents and sister. Jaime will be going back to college Monday, which will be sad for me we hung out a lot more this summer. I was glad we got to hang out. I want to also Thank Mommom & Pop for a wonderful vacation(s).

Here at home, things have been hard this past month. Rich started a new job at Colonial Cadillac and also took on 2 Bartending jobs for the managers of the new dealership and a side job for his old boss doing carpenter like work. He has been tired doing that and I've been tired from being with the boys alone and frustrated that I haven't really spent time with my husband. The extra money has been put to good use though. I just didn't realize how much that extra help from Rich with the kids made such a difference. Stupid things like me changing one diaper and he changing the other or occupying Sean & Colin while I'm tending to Paul. But, I know I have to do my part and hang in there. I think it's just that 3 is a hard task. Multi-tasking doesn't even sum it up. I love my boys and I know at the end of the day I was glad to be the one taking care of my family despite the long day.

Well Paulie's baptism is finally in the works we go to pre-jordan class on Sunday. I will feel better when it's done and taken care of. Sunday will also be a fun day afterwards we're going to my Mom & Dad's to celebrate Paula, Mark, Kevin, Ryan & Colin's birthdays. Exciting August news ...My best friend Linda & her husband Nick just had their 2nd child August 7th, a baby boy which they were hoping for so bad! Being they already have a beautiful daughter Giovanna. Baby Dominic had to stay in the NICU for 2 weeks but, Im glad to report that he is home and healthy! My mother and father in law just celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary on the 31st! :)

Approaching August /Starting Schedules

Approaching August & Starting Schedules

We're approaching the end of summer very soon which is upsetting. I enjoy the warm weather, the bbq's, vacations, and the boys love being outside all the time. However, Sean is thrilled for Fall to start. He'll be starting back at school, playing on his first soccer team, and he's been picking out halloween costumes out of his new catalogue. My Mom gave him a costume magazine and he brings it with us everywhere!! I'm excited for his upcoming school year he'll be going Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the morning. He was going to do the afternoon hours but I figured the morning class would be a good opportunity for me to put the boys in bed at a descent time and get them on a schedule that's more practical. Right now their schedules are very irregular and their bedtime is later than 10pm.

I've been going back and forth on what to do about putting Paul on a good schedule. He just hit 4 months of age but he doesn't sleep through the night nor does he nap well during the day. It's hard for me, because Sean and Colin were sleeping 8 hours a night by 6 weeks. I am thinking of weaning him on formula to see if it will improve his sleeping patterns and get him on a more defined schedule. Breastfeeding is more feed him when he's hungry. Which is not ideal when there are 2 other little ones to tend to. I'm not very fond with the idea of giving up nursing because the bonding experience is amazing. However at this point I think it'll be beneficial for me to get better rest at night. I guess time will tell what's best. Im open to any suggestions! Paulie is rolling over and is holding his head up completely. My girlfriend gave me this chair called a bamboo seat it sits the baby completely upright and makes him feel like he's doing it on his own, he is pretty content when he's in it. He smiles and laughs out loud and he keeps those arms and legs going. He now holds rattles in his hand and sucks his thumb to. Sucking his thumb isn't something new he is doing but, he's doing it a lot more. I can tell he is going to have such a cute personality.

Last week the boys and I took a trip down the shore. Wednesday we left early morning spent the day on the beach in Sea Isle to pick Sean up from his Dad. We then rode over to my Mom-mom's who has a shore house in North Wildwood. We took the boys to the boardwalk and put them on the rides. They had so much fun....it was difficult getting Colin off the rides he'd try to re strap himself in so that I couldn't lift him out. He has such a strong personality. He is getting better behavior wise although every now and again we find ourselves punishing him for hitting other kids. Lately he has been showing a sweet side though to. Colin is better with sharing and is more giving to. I catch him handing over toys that Sean Patrick wants to play with. He is trying to speak a lot more now, which is making me feel more at ease. He is using the potty a lot, he has a little toilet seat that he puts inside the regular toilet seat and climbs up and does his business. I'm hoping he'll be fully trained in a few months!

I can't believe he'll be 2 on the 8th! We are starting to discuss how we are going to celebrate his birthday this year. Last year's party was a nice family outing. But, I think this year we are going to do a possible kiddie party and celebrate on the side with our immediate families. Nothing is definite yet though. There is still no plan for Paul's baptism but I'm definitely going to have a late August/ early September christening for him with our parents and siblings. The rectory hasn't been answering phones lately so it's hard to plan.

As for me, my surgery was more painful then expected. But with lots of help from my family I've recovered pretty quickly. Today I had my stitches out, I'm glad it's over with. I just hope the swelling starts to go down a little faster now. Rich is doing okay, he is job searching again. His current job is to far from home and he wants more opportunity for advancement. We are hoping that he finds what he is looking for. Well...wish us luck! Hope everybody is having a good summer!

Early July

4th of July & Some Updates

I can't believe it's already July summer is flying by. Rich celebrated his 27th birthday on June 26th. He actually went into work that day. Our birthday's were both pretty boring this year but I guess we should expect it with 3 kids. The boys are all doing well Colin & Paul had a little cough but it seems to be going away. Paulie is now holding up his head and looking and observing any chance he gets. Sean Patrick is constantly outside playing with friends and making new ones in the neighborhood. Colin is getting better with his speech his new words this week are diaper, bubbles, Paula, Mom-Mom, and dude.

This year on the 4th of July we barbequed at my Mom & Dad's house. The night before Rich drove out to Easton, PA to get fireworks I've never seen so many fireworks in my life! haha. Of course the weather was crappy so we only set off 2 sets but I think we're going to go back up to my parents' house to set off the rest. Sean was so mad that we couldn't do the whole show. But everybody had a nice time we played baseball which kicked Rich's ass the next day! The kids made smores and did sparklers. Despite the rain, it was a really nice time. I'm glad we got to see the family. My Mom-mom & Pop are taking off to go down the shore tomorrow morning. It's going to be a little weird that they aren't around the corner for the next 2 months but we are looking forward to getting down there when we can. The boys LOVE the shore! I can't wait to visit with my grandparents, sit on the beach & take the boys on some rides. Sean keeps asking me when we are going on the rides they really enjoy their vacation and I'm looking forward to a little vacation myself.

Well this month has been a long one for us. Rich had a long month at work & I had a long one here at home. So I decided to step it up and work hard on building my clientele and my client retention. I went to cosmetology school and graduated 2 years ago from Empire Beauty School. This past week I did 7 clients, which is great for me I am really enjoying doing hair. It gives me a break for a little while from the kids and allows me to be creative on my family & friends. I'd like to Thank my new clients; Mollie, Keely, Dolores & Cheryl for giving me a chance and I'm hoping you will all make me your hair stylist in the future. So if any of you need a new style please give me a try. Mom Fell made me up some really nice business cards, so if anyone is interested e-mail me, I am reasonably priced. For those of you who do not have my number I'll get it to you!

I had my appointment today with a plastic surgeon, I have a benign tumor on my back and I'll be having surgery on July 27th to have it removed so keep that in mind for those of you who want to make appointments. The surgery should be fairly minor and I'm hoping that everything goes well.

I am glad that things are going well for some of my closest friends. Linda just made settlement on a single home in Warminster, PA. I can't wait to see her new place and I'm excited to assist her with her moving process! I'd like to congratulate Monica on getting the job she really wanted at a dermatologist office in Abington where she will be a medical assistant.

I hope things are all going well for the rest of you and I'll give everyone an update in a few weeks!

Chuck E Cheese & more..

*Father's Day*

Chuck E Cheese, Father's Day & Some News!

So Paulie is finally starting to feel back to himself. We felt so bad for him, he was miserable. We had to keep him inside and he constantly wanted to be held all day and night, we are so happy he's getting better! It's amazing how fast they grow, he has doubled in size he weighs 12lbs 2oz, he is so much more alert now and he recognizes all of our voices. In the beginning he knew my voice and Rich's. But it's funny how he whips his head when Sean & Colin talk now also. He is starting to become a little person cooing and smiling at us. He has the cutest little smirk, it melts & warms my heart!

Last Thursday Mommom & Pop Mayza took the boys & I to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. Sean & Colin had such a great time. We ate pizza, they played games and we put them on small rides. Colin enjoyed ski ball he'd stand up on the lane and try to throw them in the little holes. Half the time the balls bounced back to him, but it kept him occupied! They love going there! Sean was upset that Chuckie didn't come out and give him a hug. But he got over it when we cashed the tickets in for prizes.

Moving onto Father's Day....
We had an awesome day, we spent time with both sides of our families. We started out our day at Mom & Dad Fell's had some lunch & Pop Fell entertained Colin outside. Then we headed over to my Aunt Sue's house where we ate an early dinner, went swimming and had some cocktails. Colin got in the pool for 2 minutes and decided the water was to cold, so he played some basketball instead. Sean on the other hand really enjoyed the pool and he got to play some baseball to. All in all Rich had a nice Father's Day and the boys enjoyed spending time with both grandfathers.

Lastly, we are trying to plan Paul's christening day. This time we are doing a very small gathering with our immediate families. With the 3 boys I will not have the time or energy to plan a big celebration. But I will post pictures of Paul's big day on my page and let you all know how his baptism went.

One more thing, I want to Congratulate one of my good friends, Kristin Deissler she got engaged to her boyfriend of 3 years, Joe!! I am so happy for her and can not wait for her October 08' wedding!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!!!

Since the spring...

Since the spring started...
As you all know....Baby Paul has arrived on March 30th. He is now 10 weeks old. He is getting so big so fast, he is starting to smile & make some sounds. He hasn't been feeling to well...we had him in the ER twice & to the doctors earlier this week, unfortunately he has an ear infection and a terrible cough :( We are hoping he gets better fast! We are definitely enjoying him a lot!

Sean Patrick has joined a t-ball team in early May! He plays short stop and gets a great hit every time at bat, the coach now pitches to him instead of him hitting it off the tee! He is the smallest player on the team but he sure is one of the best. He graduated his first year of pre-school on May 25th he now can write his name by himself and recognizes shapes, colors & numbers. He will be playing soccer this fall for the Philadelphia Soccer club. He is looking forward to playing another new sport! He is loving a new baby around and he is sure a big help with Paulie. Although him & Colin are starting to have their moments with each other. They either play wonderfully or they are kicking the crap out of each other! But boys will be boys as we all know how they can be!

Colin is going to be celebrating his 2nd birthday August 8th! We can not believe that he is already going to be 2 years old! He is getting taller & thinner. He is speaking a few words here & there but not talking in full sentences yet. As I was worried about his speech, talking to a lot of other experienced mothers I've gotten some good advice and I've learned that he will do it when he is ready. Besides Sean is his spokesman anyway! We recently had him to the optometrist for his lazy eye, they said he does not need glasses and gave us a couple of patches to put on his right eye they want us to do this for 2 hours a day, we've had no luck with it he refuses to wear it. We are looking to start potty training over the summer and we will see what happens with it. When we sit him on the potty he doesn't go to the bathroom he just rips off the toilet paper, wipes himself, then hops back off. But hey it's a start! haha. He is a very coordinated little boy, he can shoot basketballs and actually makes it in the hoop! He has a great arm when it comes to throwing and he is catching the ball a little more now to. He is getting used to having the new baby around and is starting to socially interact with other little kids his age.

Richie is working very hard at work. He is trying to sell lots & lots of cars. Every month at work he sets goals for himself of how many cars he wants and needs to sell. Bonuses are given when he reaches the goals he had set. Last month he put out 15 cars and hopes to do more this month. He will be celebrating his 27th Birthday on June 26th and his 3rd Father's Day this coming weekend!

As for me I celebrated my 23rd Birthday today ( 6/10) ! My birthday this year was uneventful being Paulie isn't feeling well. But I plan to do dinner with my girlfriends in a couple of weeks and i'll be looking forward to a few hours out of the house! I am enjoying being a 3rd time Mom. Although I find it a challenge to have 3. I was having a difficult time in the beginning I stayed with my Mom for almost a month after Paul was born. I came home not knowing what to expect taking care of 3 little ones while Rich works lots of hours. I'm going to be honest it is rough taking care of Paul in the middle of the night then having to follow through with my day time schedule with Sean & Colin. It's also a project going anywhere, and getting 3 ready to go well ..it's a circus! But I know it can only get easier and I'm putting my best efforts in to raise 3 wonderful boys. Despite the challenge I love them all so much and can't wait for more great times with them in the future!

We recently got a family pet, a cat! I was never big on cats but, she is great, already trained and she's great around the kids. Sean named her Bailey. Im not sure where he came up with it but it stuck!

Well, i'll be updating this thing when I can I hope all is well with everyone & Happy Father's Day to the Dad's!
